How to install this font:
1. Install the bitmap font into your System file with the Font/DA Mover.
Double clicking on the file that has a name with a .bmap at the end (like
FontName.bmap) will start the Font/DA Mover. You must use Font/DA
Mover version 3.8 or later. If you use an earlier version, you will not
see any fonts in the file to install. When the Font/DA Mover is running,
you should see the number 3.8 or larger in the upper left hand corner of
your Macintosh screen. If you haven’t used Font/DA mover before,
consult the Macintosh Utilities manual that came with your
Macintosh. (If you own Suitcase II or MasterJuggler, consult their
manuals as to the installation of new fonts.)
2. Install the PostScript (sometimes called the printer) font file into
your System Folder by dropping it into the System Folder. It is the file
with the shortened name that has an icon that looks like a little
LaserWriter. (If you own Suitcase II or MasterJuggler, consult their
manuals for the proper installation of PostScript files.)
3. Unless you know what it is and have some use for it, you can throw
away the file with the .AFM extension on its name. This AFM file is
mainly useful for computers other than the Macintosh.
If you have any problems with this font, or have trouble installing it,
contact Altsys Corporation at the electronic addresses listed below.
This font is Freeware, from Bézier Design Limited. It was created in
Fontographer on the Macintosh. It is a Type 3 font, which means it will
not render onscreen with ATM. If you wish to order the Type 1 version
of this font (which *will* render onscreen with ATM, and will print at
highest quality to bitmapped printers when used with ATM), or if you
wish to see a catalog of 30 other quality PostScript fonts, or you are
interested in having the font designers at Bézier create excellent
custom PostScript fonts for you, please contact Ian Smith at:
